Gifts for Everyone

Our holiday party on Saturday the 22nd was awesome. Mr. & Mrs. Clause were there along with many wonderful volunteers who cooked and served the meal. We want to thank the community for their support of our outreach.

Stocking Up

The week before Christmas is always a busy one. We're preparing to distribute food baskets today, looking forward to our holiday party on Saturday and even looking ahead to our New Year's Day meal.

As always, we are thankful we live in such a generous community. Many groups and individuals have dropped off food, cooked meals and donated gifts for kids in need. Pictured is Mark Cashatt's TaeKwon-Do School Junior Black Belts, who completed a food drive for us. They even took the time to stock the food on our shelves.

More Meals

Our friends from the North Penn Mosque have been serving meals at Manna on Main Street for more than a year. Our guests enjoy the different varieties of food and the warm welcome they receive.

Food Wagon

Students from York Avenue School visited Manna on Main Street yesterday. They brought along a donation for Manna’s healthy snack program. Each day we deliver 150 snacks to the local Boys & Girls Club for their after-school homework program. We really enjoy having young people involved in helping the community.

Thanks to Everyone

We live in an amazingly generous community. For the past week Manna on Main Street has recieved food donations from so many caring people: Boy Scouts, schools, individuals and businesses (Fox, Rothchild LLP pictured here).

Turkeys were donated by Dorman Products, the North Penn Mosque, Rotelle and neighbors just walking in off the street.

We are so thankful to have such wonderful support and pray that everyone has a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.

Jeremy

Each Wednesday, Jeremy comes to help serve the afternoon meal at Manna on Main Street. He is very good with a spatula, and enjoys serving out guests. Sometimes he will stock our shelves with food. Jeremy is a good guy to have around.

Gwynedd Mercy College & Manna

First-year nursing students from Gwynedd Mercy have been helping at Manna. Gwynedd has a new 1 credit class on community service, and Manna on Main Street is one of the sites where students help. They have been preparing meals, serving soup and sorting food in our pantry.

Merck at Manna

Thanks to our frineds at Merck, Sharpe & Dohme for serving for the past two weeks. Our lunch time guests enjoyed hamburgers and hot dogs, chicken, spaghetti and friendly helpers. We appreciate all the help (and the food).
